5th Annual Health Unlimited Tri in Mt. Airy, MD

Sunday morning at 7 am, Anne and I participated in the hilliest of the hilly tris!!! But it was a fun race! More to come...in the meantime, the scene that awaited us as we arrived at the race...a reminder of God's goodness and His promise to take care of us....

So....I'm setting my friend N (names protected b/c I don't have permission to share) with a co-worker B. Apparently, we are all going out for drinks tomorrow nite in order for them to meet (they've talked on the phone.) I have a good feeling about this! I'm quite the matchmaker!!! Wish me luck--B has lots of cute boy friends!!!

Football, fall and freezing...

Alabama football is here! ROLL TIDE!!! Let's ignore the fact that we barely beat Hawaii and Vandy.... ahem.

No way it's fall yet! I'm wearing flip flops until it snows!!! In fact, to protest the fact that it's been below 80 at nite, I bought ANOTHER pair of flip flops in rebellion. I need help....

I got in my car last nite after Bible study--it may have been mid to high 60's--it was NOT cold--but I was shiverring so hard I had to turn the heat on high!!!! Oiy vey....

Lord, help us have no winter this year!!!

Sad day...

My girl Shauna left at the crack of dawn this morning to head to Alabama. Such a sad day...but I'm so excited for her! Be safe and careful, Shauna...see you soon! Love you!
