WAAAYYYY behind....

I'm so sorry. I wouldn't blame you if you'd stopped reading! Bear with me...I'm tryin'! It's just been a crazy couple of weeks and my pc at home has a broken wireless card!!! :( So....quick catchup...

1. I'm gonna be a CeeCee...again!!!! Lori's havin' a baby!!!!
2. Heading to the Outer Banks tomorrow! And Amy's coming! I can't wait!!!! Suppossed to rain, but I don't care!
3. I love my job. I really do. And I'm really starting to get to know people. Still no real work "friends"...but getting there.
4. The summer has officially begun! No more BSF and no more Sunday school! I'm on a break!
5. The summer has officially begun! My first tri is in 2 weeks. It's a baby one...so much fun. My first BIG one is in 4. No fun at all! Haven't trained in WEEKS. Stupid thing to do. Or not do.
6. Locked my keys in my car last night. Urgh. Still in there this morning. Not sure what I'm gonna do quite yet. Maybe join AAA???
7. Heading home for a full week in AR June 12-18. I will be in Hot Springs at a conference all week. But home back and forth some, and at Heather's most of the weekend. Cannot wait!
8. Shauna's moving back to B'ham. :( So sad for me...but so excited for her. She is thrilled to be back home, and I don't blame her. Danny got a great job--congrats!
9. Poor Anne got her wisdom tooth out and is sufferring a hard recovery. Bless her heart. She's going to OBX with us this weekend, so we plan on nursing her back to health!
10. Had a bbq this weekend. SO MUCH FUN. Here's some pics.

The Race For Hope.

On Sunday we ran in a 5k in DC for the Brain Tumor Society. Shauna was our team captain and we ran in memory of her mom-LaJuana Palmer Baker. It was an honor and a blessing to share in the day. And it was absolutely gorgeous for the run!

The Luck of the Irish!

Sooo....Ireland. What can I say?? It was AWESOME. We had beautiful weather, a great hotel and a fabulous time! Here's a quick synopsis and some pics....
Friday--rode the City tour bus/hop on-hop off like 3 times....went to the Guiness Factory...Boar's Head Pub (oldest pub in Ireland)...had dinner at the local pub.
Saturday--went for a fabulous run around the city...St. Patrick's Green (park)...St. Merrion Sq....Trinity College/Book of Kells....Tourist Center (fab old church)...Clarence Hotel/Octagon Bar (owned by Bono)....Temple Bar...hanging with the Irish boys.
Sunday--church at St. Pat's Cathedral...Christ Church Cathedral...shopping...Trip to Howth...fancy dinner...Hanging in the pub.
Monday--trip home!

It was a blast. Anchovie...here's to Dublin!
